Our Approach

Every Playspace location operates under the same core commitments. Here’s what families can expect at every visit.

Cleanliness & Sanitation

Our therapy rooms, Playspace areas, shared spaces, toys, and equipment are routinely cleaned and maintained, including a daily sanitizing pass across all play equipment and play areas, to provide a clean and welcoming environment for children and families.

Staff Supervision

Children are supervised by appropriate team members throughout every visit. Someone is always watching the room, and safety remains the priority from the moment a family arrives to the moment they leave.

Age-Appropriate Spaces and Equipment

Our Playspaces are designed with children in mind, welcoming kids ages 0 to 12, with equipment and activities selected to support safe, developmentally appropriate play and movement at every stage, from a toddler’s first steps to a grade-schooler climbing to the top of the wall.

Required Clearances

Staff complete applicable employment requirements and clearances for working with children before joining the team.

Emergency Preparedness

Our locations maintain procedures for responding to emergencies and unexpected situations involving children, families, or staff, and our team is familiar with those procedures so we can respond quickly and calmly if something unexpected comes up.

Facility Safety

Playspaces and equipment are regularly monitored so potential safety or maintenance concerns can be identified and addressed quickly. Our facilities are also ADA compliant, with accessible parking and public transportation at both Playspace locations.

Family Communication

We encourage parents to communicate any relevant needs, concerns, allergies, accommodations, or other information that may help our team provide an appropriate environment for their child. The more we know ahead of a visit, the better we can prepare for your family.

Inclusive Environment

Because we work with children with a wide range of developmental and sensory needs, our team strives to maintain an environment that is welcoming, supportive, and mindful of individual needs, including kids on the autism spectrum.

Playspace Rules

Families are expected to follow posted Playspace guidelines and staff instructions to help maintain a safe environment for everyone. Grip socks are required in the Playspace, and a parent or guardian must remain on-site for the full duration of every visit.
